Things to know before your first appointment:

  • We are located on the corner of Buchan and Quigley Street at 208 Buchan street, Bungalow, one block behind the Showground shopping centre.
  • Our clinic entrance and wheelchair access is via our accessible car park, on Quigley Street.
  • When you arrive, you will be greeted by a member of our admin team as you enter our welcome room. Our admin team will be expecting you, and will confirm who you are here to see, before letting your clinician know you have arrived.
  • We have a cold water bubbler in our welcome room, and our toilet on site.
  • Your clinician will show you to the clinic room or gym where your appointment will take place. If you have a support person with you, they can accompany you into your appointment, or remain in our welcome room if you would prefer.
  • If we do not already have your signed consent form we will ask for it to be completed prior to your appointment.
  • If you have any questions prior to your appointment, please call our administration team on (07) 4065 8000.

8 things you might not know about us

  • We started off in FNQ Rehab in 2017, and rebranded to Thriving Lives Co., a name that better encapsulates what we are passionate about, in 2022.
  • We offer Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology and Allied Health Assistant services, as well as the support of our amazing administration team that work together to help you live a life you love.
  • We moved into our clinic, 208 Buchan Street in December 2022. Prior to that our clinicians were predominantly mobile, while our admin team were based in an office in Gordonvale.
  • We offer services in the Cassowary Coast (and have a full time Exercise Physiologist, Kathryn, in Innisfail), Atherton tablelands and Hinterland (full time Exercise Physiologist Bri in the tablelands), Babinda, Yarrabah, Gordonvale, Cairns, Mossman, and everywhere in between.
  • Our office hours are 8am-4pm Monday to Friday, after hours by appointment.
