Shona Edwards

Shona Edwards
Senior Exercise Physiologist

Shona works within the team at TLC as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. She says it’s an excellent job and privilege to be able to help make a difference to someone’s quality of life. She graduated from James Cook University in 2013 and since then has travelled and lived overseas and enjoyed working and gaining experience at a few different jobs in regional areas of Queensland.

She loves using exercise and lifestyle as tools to empower clients to take charge of their lives. She is passionate about working together as an interdisciplinary team, helping each other with tricky situations, and being a part of the positive workplace culture. She enjoys working with kids, musculoskeletal and neuromuscular conditions, as well as cancer. She likes teaching yoga and Pilates too.

In her free time, Shona likes to play – handstands, slacklining, hula hoping, juggling, wakeboarding, walking or running her dog, going to gigs, and eating yum food! And of course, spending quality time with friends and family.
