Max Walton

Max Walton
Senior Occupational Therapist

Max is an Occupational Therapist and while he was born in Melbourne, he finished his schooling in Cairns and attended James Cook University in Townsville, so he considers himself very much a Cairns local.

Since his graduation in 2017, he has been working in the NDIS and disability space for the better part of five years. He previously worked making Orthotics and Prosthetics and has completed additional training and learning around the use of assistive technology and home modification assessments.

Max predominantly supports children and young people with a range of conditions, including ASD, ADHD, cognitive impairment, developmental delay, and other social difficulties, however, he regularly completes assessments for people of all ages. Max loves supporting families in a way that best meets the family’s needs and being flexible to support those that he is working with.

Max states he loves working within TLC and our wider team as it is an environment that supports and encourages everyone to utilise their strengths for therapy, as well as offering an extremely supportive environment for learning and using evidence-based therapies and practices.

He loves sport (he is an avid Collingwood supporter) and riding his motorbike, but don’t let that fool you, as he also loves Star Wars and superheroes.
